Refund policy

All products are hand-crafted to order for personal care and cannot be hygienically resold or reused; therefore, we’re unable to offer refunds or exchanges.
Please do not send your purchase back to The Occasion — returned items will not be accepted and must be destroyed.

Returned or refused packages (due to incorrect address information or taxes owed) will be reshipped at the buyer's expense. We can only hold packages for 30 days while awaiting reshipment payment; after that period, the order will be closed. Returned or refused packages are not eligible for a refund. See refund policy for details.

Klarna Purchases:
All items purchased using Klarna must be unopened and unused to qualify for a refund due to sanitary reasons. Restocking fees, store credit, or exchanges do not apply to Klarna transactions. Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 14 business days.

Order Cancellations & Refund Processing:
If you haven’t received your refund yet, first recheck your bank account.
Then contact your credit card company, as it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next, contact your bank — there is often additional processing time before a refund appears.
